You may be as good as any good person can be
And be blessed with compassion and for others feel empathy
And perform a good deed or two every day
Yet not everyone of you will have nice things to say
The kind are never among the most admired of the town
And never even know of local renown
For to be like them so few do desire
They are just not the type that many do admire
Though joy to some people in their good deeds they do bring
Their praises few ever do bother to sing
The words of a wise person i do recall
In life you win some but you don't win them all
But those every day who perform some good deed
For their future good Karma do plant the good seed.
