The frog chorus is audible again
They always sing before and during rain
These tiny amphibians one does not often see
Perhaps they do sing to proclaim territory
Hard to be seen so elusive in their way
They are Nature's ventriloquists of them one can say
You search for one where you think the sound is only to realize
To find it is not there Nature never ceases to surprise
Frogs they are creatures with ways of their own
And even those knowledge on them will tell of them much remains as unknown
Nature in her creatures such joy to us does bring
Though of her we will never know everything
We know it will soon rain the frogs are on song
And as weaather forecasters they never get it wrong.
