In The Warmth Of February

In the sunny blue sky just a few clouds of grey
Beauty it is all around me today
The sweet scent of hay carrying in the freshening breeze
And the magpies are warbling on the sunlit trees

Above the town gardens white butterflies flitting about
In the warmth of February in the far south
The paddocks near the town greening after the recent rain
With such pleasant weather none ought to complain

On a weaather temperature high for the day of a sunny twenty two degrees
The warm air full of the buzzings of bush flies and bees
And everyone i meet has a smiling face
The nice weather brings happiness to a beautiful place

And wherever i turn to look beauty i see
Today it is everywhere all around me
The pee wee of the magpie larks pleasant to hear
Earthly Utopia to this place has to be near

So good is life so good to be alive
A day for to go on a rural drive
