Why time passes so quickly one must wonder why
On looking back the Seasons the years seemed to fly
The decades pass quickly beyond our lives prime
Eventually we all become victims of time
As a young person anyone does not stay
Yesterday's baby is ageing today
Time with it brings changes few things seem to last
And memories are all we retain of the past
We live in the now and yesterday has gone
And the clocks on our lives ever keep ticking on
Some people tomorrow will not wake to see
To everyone death does come eventually
We are born to mortality and we age by the day
And the clocks on our lives ever ticking away.
