It is a truism of life indeed
That everyone of some form of recognition are in need
But any form of recognition some never receive
Since the status of high achievers they cannot achieve
In a Human World where many live in poverty
Stories or photos of poor people in the media you will never read of or see
Though they too deserve recognition it seems sad to say
They are the unsung and as the unsung will stay
Recognition is for the so called successful few
And this is not saying anything that is new
Only the minority seem worthy of praise
This is how it always was and is nowadays
Everyone is in need of recognition but for many it isn't so
Just the same today as it was years ago.
