For you it has been quite a miserable day
Your boss has knocked back your request for a raise in pay
And though you would like to quit in this job you must stay
Many are unemployed and job vacancies are few
That it is an employers job market is not saying what is new
But with a wife and two young daughters financially depending on you
To stay in this job is the best you can do
For the sake of your daughters and their mother your wife
To you the most important people in your life
You will stay in this job though the weekly pay is small
Even a poorly paid job is better than no job at all
Though your greedy boss is a user and known as not good to pay
For the sake of your dependents in this job you will stay.
