Though his children are wealthy in truth one can say
Held in high essteem one of the admired of the town
He enjoyed the status of local renown
His friends wealthy people of no use to him now
And life goes on without him somehow
And life without him for them goes on just the same
In their lavish parties not one mention of his name
The man with ten houses was a multi millionaire
But for the poor of the town he never had a dollar to spare
He did not believe in on what you do for others says more about you
Than what for yourself you choose to do
He does not own a house now he is in a wooden box underground
Forever blind to light with darkness all around.
