Hope

Though they realize tough times of them are ahead

Lucky are they in whom hope is not dead

Though out of work and financially down

And doing it tough on the poor side of the town

Through their tough days in life they do manage to cope

Thanks to this wonderful thing known as hope

That their hard times soon from them will have gone

And that the better times for them are coming on

Hope does serve one well on their time of need

It is a great gift for to have indeed

Among those down in their luck in Countries Worldwide

It has saved many from an end of suicide

In their tough times it has helped so many to cope

This wonderful gift that is always referred to as hope.
