The big red hereford bull in the paddock nearby
On calm nights bellows loudly when the moon's in the sky
But he is never heard bellowing during the day
One wonders does the moon affect him in some way?
One only does hear him on a calm starry night
Constantly bellowing in the moonlight
With no bull to answer him anywhere nearby
Why in the moonlight he bellows one does wonder why
If the moon does affect people like me and you
On animals it has to have some affect too
His moonlight behaviour is strange would you not agree
By day with his herd he is as quiet as can be
A mystery as such that goes without doubt
And of Nature so much for to learn about.
