Yet for rhymers no shortage of things for to write rhymes about
Though rhymers may become popular again and who is to say
That again they may be celebrated in time not far away
The literary trends nowadays keep on changing fast
And though many will tell you rhyme is of the past
In these literary times of the novelist and non rhyming poet
The rhymer not seen worthy of literary note
It is not saying anything in any way that is new
That rhyming women and men in the World are not few
They are in every village and city and town
Though few of them ever do know of local renown
In the literary world things are changing fast
And the glory days of the rhymers are of the past.
