But they are admired as heroines and heroes on their side of the town

By those doing it tough in life the financially down

Any medals or honours by them never won

But their mothers and fathers in them raised good daughters and sons

Their achievement is to be selfless and this is a great thing

Yet of their praises you seldom hear anyone sing

Few of those seen as newsworthy in the World of today

To help others seldom go out of their way

Yet these are the people so many admire

And just to be like them in life their desire

And the selfless who help the financially down

Live as the unnoticed on their side of the town.
