Since he does not have a god to kneel to for to pray
Yet he is rather generous in his own kind way
And he performs at least one good deed every day
His aged and frail neighbour Belinda who to him lives nearby
Of his greatness as a person to anyone of him does not deny
She says in her times of need he never leaves her down
That he is the kindest person on her side of the town
Though a religious person herself for his lack of religion him she does not criticize
She says knowing one like him makes her realize
That not all non religious people are unkind and unjust
And that he is one that with her life she would trust
For his soul she says she does regularly pray
And she knows he will join her in heaven one day.
