But for the good souls heaven may be ahead
His pub in Millstreet Town now known as The Mal Paso is owned by his nephew Brian today
And Mick with the deceased of the Parish does lay
That saying of Mick Cooley's as a truism remain
And the meaning in it it's own self does explain
The ageing are well past their physical prime
They are the people who are losing to time
Life experience for the aged may be their gain
But time has left them with many an ache and a pain
And old words of wisdom worthy of recall
That it is a young person's Human World after all
