Only to find things much the same everywhere
There are good and bad people in every village and city and town
Of all different races of black, white and brown
That we learn as we live is only true to say
And in life we do learn something new every day
And the more we do learn the more we come to realize
That we are not as knowledgeable as we think we are or not as wise
The flaws that in others i happen to see
Are only the flaws that are also in me
And the good things in others we does recognize
Are also in us we do come to realize
For to see some of the World i left my first homeplace
Where to many today mine would be a stranger's face
Only to realize that everywhere people are much the same
It is true sameness is the same Worldwide for want to it of a better name.
