But a minority of greedy people for the sake of money some of the Earth's beauty destroy
And on so doing many of Nature's flora put on the endangered list
On abusing the Earth the one who feeds us all for her resources greedy humans do persist
Some of us criminal environmental vandals for want of a better name
Our abuse of our Earth Mother is to our eternal shame
The wrongs we do to the one who feeds us to our own selves we do
This is how that i do see it whatever about you
I am unworthy to be called a greenie though i see Mother Earth as a friend
Though in the past i too have harmed her i am not one to pretend
For our sins against our Earth Mother there will be some price to pay
And about us the children of the future will not have nice things to say
Since we only have created for them a World of food shortage and poverty
The Earth who supports all life forms do not have a friend in humanity.
