And verbal vulgarity as usual it is in excess
Where grown men behave worse than unruly boys
And so much vulgarity among the shouting and noise
In parliamentary sitting insult to laughter gives rise
One would expect our elected representatives to be more prudent and wise
Than insulting their political opponents verbal advantage to seek
Parliament today as it ever was no place for the humble and meek
The last sitting day before recess in parliament and crassness abound
Where of the loudness of their own rudeness they seem to like the sound
Where arrogant parliamentarians their own and their parties praises does sing
Lighthearted humor and respect of difference is not their thing
In the Parliament of the Nation before Christmas the last sitting day
Arrogance and insult abound it is always this way.
