Where the influence of money is of no value at peace he now lay
In his mid forties of a heart attack he died suddenly
Leaving a widow and a son and a daughter of twenty one and twenty three
Though they do grieve his passing in truth one can say
With the millions from the sale of his twenty houses they will be financially okay
As for him he is now only equal to those who died in poverty
Since death among people brings equality
To say money is not important would be to state a lie
But you cannot take it with you on the day you do die
In life money brought to him admirers and widespread renown
But today he is far worse off than the living poor of the town
In life he was admired as a financial success
But in death he lost everything he did possess.
