And to him she was devoted a good and loving wife
In her early sixties dying of canceer as a single woman today
The man she loved truly with her did not stay
Their son and daughter partnered with children living far away
She may never more see them which seems sad to say
He did not stay with her when she needed him most
Him and his attractive younger partner to their love for each other regularly drink a toast
Not among the honourable males of the town
Due to his forsaking of the one who stood by him when he was mentally and financially down
A woman for her kindness and compassion on her better days known
On her palliative ward bed she is dying on her own
And the man that she loved and for many years to was wed
Could not seem to care less that in a few weeks she will be dead
