If you cannot love yourself you cannot love anyone

For it is something that remains ever true
How can you love anyone if you do not love you
Self love and narcissism are very different indeed
As different as one can say as a rose is from a weed
Narcissism is not self love it is obsession with self in the extreme
Though on this opinions may differ or so it does seem
Those who have love of self have love in them for to share
And of the needs of others they are quite aware
The generous, kind and compassionate people on their side of the town
Always helping the poor and the financially down
Those with genuine love of self in them in numbers may not abound
And they have an abundance of love for to share around.
