Of a good education he has papers to show
But of Nature's ways so much he does have to know
On some ways he is quite bright and on other ways slow
To him a currawong is a species of crow
Yet he would have you believe that he knows everything
And his own praises he certainly loves to sing
He will tell you of his uni degrees
And that his sort of knowledge does not grow on trees
That he has so much to learn he does not realize
Well educated in one subject but not very wise
Those who believe they know everything have nothing to learn of at all
Are words of old wisdom worthy of recall
Well educated in one subject but in many ways slow
To him a currawong is a species of crow.
