It is true that opinions can come at a cost
And because of them friendships have been known to be lost
The passionate can carry their opinions to the extreme
Some tend to get carried away with their beliefs it would seem
It is known that beliefs held by people Worldwide
Those who once were friends have been known to divide
It is true that some with their beliefs does get carried away
And can become violent and dangerous to enforce their say
Religion, politics, nationality and race can be a conversational no
As they divide people happens to be so
People for their beliefs commit violent crime
And as punishment are sentenced to prison to serve years of time
The truth of strong beliefs one comes to realize
That some people are not hard to radicalize.
