You remain a decent person to your higher self trying to live as true
Always willing to help other people in life less fortunate than you
Not on any way self centered good things for others you do
Yet you do live as a stranger even to local renown
Not looked on as a higher achiever or one of the admired of your side of the town
Never in the public limelight your own praises you never sing
Yet you live as kind and caring and happiness to others try to bring
Like many who are kind and caring you never yearn for wealth and fame
Mainly it is the aspirational and ambitious who for themselves do make a name
People who are kind and generous are an asset to humanity
If only everyone were like you the World would be free of poverty
Not one of the wealthy and famous admired for their material success
As a caring person you help others though your sort few ever impress.
