Great Failures

Many of those looked up to as successes to many are failures to me

With those who say they are worth admiring i cannot agree

Since they abuse the Earth that feeds us all for their financial gain

And why they have so many admirers is beyond me to explain

On those many admire as successful only failures i do see

Future generations will have us to blame for their poverty

We take and take from the Earth that feeds us and in return nothing to her give

The one who provides the food and resources for us who without we could not live

Those who gain most from Mother Earth does abuse her the most

Yet these are the people that many of how great they are does boast

The Earth that does feed us all they abuse every day

To me they are great failures i stand by what i say

We abuse the Earth that feeds us and this is to our shame

And for their poverty the future generations will have us for to blame.
