Like many he does have some friends and is not without foes
This is part of being human one has to suppose
And though not amongst the admired of the town
He is known to be a friend of the financially down
Not wealthy or famous he works hard for his pay
And with a wife and two young daughters to support for him many a busy day
A social outsider since he is not a member of any local sporting or community club
And he never does patronize the local pub
A likeable fellow in his own way quite kind
And on the helping of others always willingly inclined
Yet it is not saying anything on anyway that is new
That his sort are never of the admired few
His own praises or the praises of others he never does sing
He is just one of those who likes doing his own thing.
