They were madly in love up to a year ago
Nowadays they passs each other in silence when they do meet
In the shopping centre or on the street
It is said that love fastest to bloom is often quickest to die
In their case anyhow this is not a lie
The passion in their love did not seem to last
Love between them bloomed quickly and died just as fast
At least they do not have any children to quarrel about
A problem many divorced couples with children could do without
Love between them did not have a long stay
With different stories to tell of their breakup who is right or wrong who is to say
In many broken relationships it is this way
