The Poet Of Karma

Some of Robert Southey's poems were Karma related, The Inchcape Rock and Bishop Hatto two that come to mind
He was one who believed in Karma in his most famous poems his karmic beliefs you will find
The karmic related deaths of Ralph The Rover and Bishop Hatto i first read as a schoolboy years ago
Human law in life they disrespected but in Karma they met a fatal foe
In the poems of Southey Karma always the winner what goes around comes around as they say
Those who were cruel to others in the poems of Southey to Karma with their lives were forced to pay
Southey surely was the poet of Karma he was England's Poet Laureate in his prime
Since he breathed his last there has been many Seasons for this is going back a few centuries in time
His poems were my introduction to Karma with words he was one who did have a way
We sow the seeds of our good or bad Karma in our good or bad deeds every day
Southey was one who wrote a lot on Karma  he did believe what we reap we do sow
He was a poet who knew much about Karma and of how Karma works there is so much of to know
Robert Southey surely was the poet of Karma The Inchcape Rock and Bishop Hatto live as poetic gems today
In his beliefs for our sins against others to karma the big price we have to pay.
