He Sees Beauty

He sees beauty in a concrete building but not in an old growth tree

Perhaps our egos only see what we want them to see

To him the old growth tree of progress is in the way

There are many of his sort in the World of today

One of the top land developers on his side of the town

To make way for buildings today more old growth trees by his workers were cut down

In the name of progress Nature's beauty being destroyed

This happens every day in Countries Worldwide

We abuse our Mother Earth the one who does feed us for financial gain

Our environmental behaviour seems hard to explain

In the progress of humans some of the Earth has an ugly scarred face

For beauty a concrtete building an old growth tree cannot replace

He sees beauty in a concrete building but not in an old growth tree

And sadly in this many with him would agree.
