In many ways is happier than me
As she seems quite ignorant of her mortality
And that she is easy to please one can only agree
Content with enough of grass for to eat
She does not realize that one day she will be slaughtered for her meat
Than us humans animals are easier to be satisfied
And their feelings they never do try for to hide
An animal is just an animal as some like to say
But of animals we learn something new every day
The cow in the paddock chewing her cud does lay
Seeming free of worries of her one can say
She does not realize that one day she will die
In this respect much better off than you or i.
