Some men believe that a real man in public should not shed tears
That a real man in public his grief within him should keep
That it is not manly for a man in public to weep
A real man should not weep for his losses in life
At the grave of his sibling or parent or wife
Even in his moment of deepest grief his feelings in public he should not show
He should stifle the tears in him yearning to flow
Some men do not have an idea what a real man should be
On what it is to be human only weakness they do see
In public their true feelings they keep ahide
So much indeed for this thing known as manly pride
Some men believe a real man in public should not weep even at a love one's grave
From bad childhood mentoring they believe that this is not manly or brave
Their idea of a real man would you not agree
Is of one who is lacking in humanity.
