To say not a good year for many is not a lie
Millions of people Worldwide affected by COVID Nineteen
The last of the bad days has not yet been seen
So many people of COVID already have died
And so many people very ill from it Worldwide
A pandemic that from there is nowhere to hide
That it does not recognize borders of it cannot be denied
Many people look to 2022 with feelings of fear
But one can only hope for people Worldwide it will be a better year
Than 2021 that has caused so much sickness and death
And has left many people struggling for life's breath
But that hope springs eternal truer words never said
And hopefully in 2022 better days for all are ahead.
