To be true to your higher self hard to attain
If money and lots of admirers in life you wish to gain
It is hard to stay humble when you have achieved fame
When many admire you and know you by name
It only seems a true enough thing for to say
That their higher self from many of the wealthy and famous is far away
Among many of the people who live the high life
Narcissism and all that goes with it is rife
So many nowadays with the self are obsessed
And by the wealthy and famous their sort quite impressed
They possess in themselves this burning desire
To be wealthy and famous like those they admire
Self promotion nowadays does seem an in thing
So many their own praises do love to sing.
