From there i have been quite a long time away
And i may feel a stranger in Millstreet today
Some i knew there among the deceased lay
And others like me there did not choose to stay
And those i knew still living there long past their physical prime
Eventually we all become victims of time
And like me all they have are memories of days long gone
In life as is said we all do move on
Few friendships as is known over time does last
And memories are all we have to share of the past
We do forge new friendships few things one could name
That over the decades of years stay the same
From there i have been quite a long time away
And i may feel a stranger in Millstreet today.
