Without a lover or a partner for as long as she lives she says she will stay
Her late husband a good man to him she was a good wife
Though for him she settled for her second love choice in life
The man that she loved where the deceased are does lay

Back in the days when her hair was dark brown
To a good man for many years she was a good wife
And though she grieved his passing he was not the love of her life.
