The Land Developer

You show a wealthy l;and developer a beautiful tree

But in it an obstacle to progress he only does see

He believes every tree growing in the park of the town

Should be removed to make way for  building after being cut down

To a land developer every black feathered bird is a crow

Nothing about Nature he does seem to know

Greenies are Nature lovers he does say

And of progress they only does stand in the way

In the posh uptown restaurant he and his wife with their wealthy friends dine

And wash down their expensensive food with expensive wine

And it is not of Nature that they talk about

But making money and big business this goes without doubt
