Since time on my life keeps on ticking away
In my mid seventies well past my physical prime
Like all other ageing people i have become a victim of time
And though the seconds of my life keeps on ticking fast
I want to live now more than i ever did in the past
Like everyone else life is the greatest gift i do possess
And is far greater than any other form of success
My only advice to any woman or man
Is live for as long as you possibly can
Live for at the living of life we only get one chance
A gift that came to us only by circumstance
Of the praises of life i feel happy to sing
For indeed it is quite a wonderful thing.
