He is what is known as one of those regular blokes
And he always likes laughing at his own jokes
In the pub banter a leader by his own choice
He does seem to like the sound of his own voice
Of late one not seen in the local pub at all
And all because of a game of football
With the local club in the the Grand Final he played a poor game
Quite normal behaviour when the ego is in shame
No longer one of the loud voices of the town
His ego deflated since he left the club down
His deflated ego keeps his tongue at bay
About himself now he has nothing to say
Missing from the pub on a Saturday night
Where he used to be quite vocal and a regular sight.
