Of The Person You Are

You may be one who is financially down

Out of work and out of friends on the poor side of the town

On the ladder to success you have not climbed far

And you cannot even afford to buy a second hand car

On your search for a job start luck not on your side

And being unemployed does nothing for your sense of pride

But from no fault of your own you became unemployed

And from anyone you have no secrets to hide

When the company you worked for went into receivership it came to you at a huge financial cost

You were made redundant and a regular livable financial income to you lost

Financial tough times of late you have known

But you became unemployed through no fault of your own

And though you cannot even afford to buy a second hand car

You ought to feel proud of the person you are.
