So many honourable and brave people are in prison today
To criticize their government in their Country is a major crime
And for this they may be in prison for quite a long time
To live in a Country where the goverment you can criticize
Is a privilege as such one does come to realize
So many people in Countries of autocratic regimes who live in fear
Of speaking their minds is obviously clear
If you can criticize the government without fear of reprisals of you one can say
That you could be living in a far worse Country to live in today
A fact of the matter and fact never lie
In some Countries for criticizing the government people in prison may die
Every day in the news we read of and hear
Of abuse of their citizens by governments who rule by fear.
