As a girl and young woman quite lovely her hair was dark brown
She married Liam Harte quite a long time ago
Long before time it did become her foe
Far from her first Hometown in Duhallow's green countryside
It is said after a long illness Kathleen Harte died
The good in life suffer to her this did apply
That she lived as a good person none of her can deny
A mother and grandmother irreplaceable in her family
She died in her seventies at a guess maybe
A role model and to many she was a good friend
Sad to learn her life's journey for her has come to an end
The longest lived human life is not that long true to say
And for all of us there is this last night and day
And though from Kathleen Harte the great gift of life it has gone
In all who knew and knew of her good memories of her will live on.
