But in many instances this is not true
To the poor of the World this does not apply
Their circumstance of birth of a fair go in life them deny
So many poor people due to no fault of their own are hungry and homeless today
That their future seems bleak only true to say
Some of them will not live to reach their physical prime
To be born into poverty is not a crime
It should not be hard for anyone to believe
That not everyone a fair go from life does receive
In a World where the financially wealthy many impress
Few climb out of poverty to the summit of success
And it is only saying what happens to be so
That everyone from life does not receive a fair go.
