So Few Out Of Writing

So few out of writing a fortune in money have made

And so many hobby writers who never make the grade

And only a few who aspire to literary greatness scale the heights of fame

In literature so few for themselves make a name

So many young writers in every village and city and town

Who do have their own dreams of literary renown

But so few can hope to see their dreams come true

And achieve from life what they feel is their due

So many writers have their own literary idols to admire

And from writing like they are to be wealthy and famous to does aspire

And then there are those who for the love of doing it write every day

Without any desire for fame or for doing it money as pay

It is something that everyone of are aware

That in literature as in all things the wealthy and famous are rare.
