One of the town's most admired men leads a double life
Behind closed doors he beats his children and he beats his wife
And at the weekend at the church with the faithful he pray
As a deceptive hypocrite he is one who leads the way
Yet few in their words ever does put him down
And he remains as one of the admired men of the town
His wife in public often seen in dark glasses to hide the bruising around her eyes
But his rusted on fans dismiss this as rumors and lies
We believe what we want to believe one does have to suppose
And the one who has many friends is not without some foes
One of the wealthiest people in the town today
These are only false rumors of him his fans does say
Yet the rumors in the town of him remain rife
