We only believe what we want to believe
And some people in their words the truth only deceive
Of fair minded people the World is in need of more
This is something that has been said often before
The words of a wise person worthy of recall
That a fair go for some is not a fair go for all
Shame on the racists in every village, city and town
Who choose to differentiate between black, white and brown
It is true about ignorance that is can be bliss
The fact in the matter they do seem to miss
That of all types of people humanity is in need
And red is the blood we all shed when we bleed
Our different opinions define who we are
But some of us take our opinions one might say too far
There are many in their words who like to drag others down
And sadly their sort are not rare in any town
A fair go in life should apply to everyone
Some people in their words to others great harm have done
So blessed are they who are fair of mind
The Human World is in need of more of their kind.
