That everyone is replaceable as a truism remain
As true as that a loss to one becomes another's gain
If you wish to go to where many who thought they were irreplaceable are
Take a short walk to the cemetery where many of the town's dead are
In cemeteries many who thought they were irreplaceable but without them life goes on today
That everyone is replaceable is only true to say
We are born to life as mortals eventually for to die
And she or he who believes they are irreplaceable do believe their own lie
From many who thought they were irreplaceable the gift of life has gone
But the World did not end on the day they died and without them life goes on
They were not as important as they made themselves out to be
Death that visits everyone of ego sets them free
Those who think they are irreplaceable are not of the few
And that time too will prove them wrong is not saying what is new.
