One of the out of work people in the town
Down on his luck and financially down
His wife has left him and with her took their three years old son
He feels one of life's unlucky at the age of thirty one
C O V I D-19 has brought change to his life
One of the reasons he was forsaken by his wife
She could not live with a man on the dole
Though being unemployed is beyond his control
On such a low income rent he struggle to pay
Yet so many like him in every town today
Seeking a job start and trying to live on welfare
The hard done by life are no longer rare
On such a low income struggling to survive
Only the fear of death keeps him alive
With life at the present he is struggling to cope
And for better times he only lives in hope
One of the financially down and feeling depressed
It can be said of him that he is not one of the blessed
Every day for a job start he does apply
Without any luck though hard he does try
Often hungry with little money to buy food he is doing it tough
On people like him life's journey is rough
One of the many unemployed of the town
Feeling quite depressed and financially down.
