For your many emails to me and on keeping me in mind

You do encourage so many writers to write

Their words to your so very wonderful All Poetry site

Humanity needs more people like you are today

For you help many writers in your own way

In the twenty first century World where many lay claim to the title of poet

Not everyone can be worthy of literary note

Kevin through different eyes difference we do see

And though with you on most things i can only agree

The title of poet is not for one like me

Since a rhymer at best is the best i can be

We all have our own ways of looking at things one suppose

And a weed to one is another's rose

Kevin your ideas on life are quite different to mine

When i go to the bottleshop i choose the cheap wine

Though you and i may never meet face to face

Thanks again Kevin your heart is in the right place

I must forego your offer of a chance of literary renown

I only feel glad that i was not born a horse since by now i would have been put down.
