Suppose we cannot help ourselves with us it is this way
Our big egos are talking for us every day
Your great job, new home and new car and your wonderful life
And your successful children and your beautiful wife
For attention with the like minded you always compete
Suppose this is how it is when the big egos meet
In the twenty first century humility it does not pay
Many of the egotistical the so called successful in the Human World of today
Their own praises many do love for to sing
In the twenty first century self promotion seems an in thing
It is a sad Human World for to live in indeed
If to make ourselves relevant of self promotion we are in need
So sad to think in the early twenty first century
That they are looked on as losers those who display humility.
