If you are an honest person the government know most things about you it seems true to say
Though honesty some people will tell you does pay
But from honest people of taxes the government does take more than their share
And stories of this to say the least not rare
In a Human World where corruptible people seldom lose out
Of trust in a government some do have some doubt
Corruption in high places nowadays is rife
And by some is accepted as part of life
The worst criminals are not in the poor side of the town
They are not to be found among the financially down
In the leafy suburbs they mostly do dwell
Among those who are doing financially well
And all of this does stem from human greed
In a World where the honest do seldom succeed.
