To the sense of scent not very nice
The strong odour of decaying dead baited rats and mice
It is such a horrible smell
And even can leave the non squeamish feeling unwell
Though compared to the smell of decaying fish not as hard on the nose
All things become relative one does have to suppose
The wind always seems to spread about
The odours that we would feel better without
In the rubbish tip of the town where hidden among the rubbish the dead baited rats and mice decay
The strong stench seems to get stronger by the day
For to have to put up with the stench of the smell one can truly say
The people who work there do earn their pay
A rather foul odour to the nostrils not nice
The decaying bodies of baited dead rats and mice.
