Tower Hill is the home to Koala, echidna, black wallaby and grey kangaroo
And emu, many species of waterbirds and yellow tailed black cockatoo
To the Peek Wurrong people centuries ago Tower Hill's first race
The volcanic valley was a sacred place
On warm Summer evenings in the shade of the trees
They danced and they sang in their corroborees
They were replaced by the people from far away
And sadly no corroborees in Tower Hill today
The volcanic rocks that are on some of the south western beaches that are forever more
Are remnants of the boiling lava from Tower Hill that flowed to the ocean shore
Going back in time many centuries ago
How long even so called experts can only guess so
But no volcanic lava flowing from Tower Hill today
It is now a dormant volcano those in the know do say.
